Occupation: Barber shop owner

Location: South London

Marcus Donkoh is the owner of Mavade, a barber shop which he first began from cutting hair in his mother's home which he says has since become one of South London's top barber shops.

"I understand branding, operations and scale, and I’ve created a model that blends grooming, tech, education and lifestyle into one system," he said.

"I’m not guessing my way through business. I’m proven, battle tested and I operate with long term vision. I know how to lead, innovate and build from nothing."

What is Marcus Donkoh's business plan?

Marcus's business plan is to scale his business into "the first global grooming and lifestyle conglomerate, building a network of premium barbershops that redefines men’s grooming, driven by recurring revenue, low cost expansion, and strong brand equity".

He added: "The model is proven, scalable and backed by a clear roadmap for London, the UK, New York, Dubai and Tokyo."

Is Marcus Donkoh on social media?

At the time of writing it doesn't appear that Marcus has a personal social media profile but his business, Mavade, can be followed on Instagram @themavade.
