Married at First Sight Australia will burst onto screens tonight, providing an added dose to drama to week night schedules following the conclusion of Love Island.

The latest outing of the reality series comes a little over a month since it first aired in Australia, but tonight (9 March) UK fans will finally meet the singles daring to take part in the experiment.

One of those couples is Rachel and Steven, who fans down under have been rooting for since their nuptials which were equal parts wholesome and awkward.

During their wedding day, Steven hesitated to kiss Rachel due to a lack of chemistry and things were rather frosty...

So, where does this leave the happy couple? Here's everything we know about whether or not MAFS Australia couple Rachel and Steven are still together.

Despite that awkward moment during their wedding, the couple talked it through which has seen them go from strength to strength in the communication department. But the couple have struggled with intimacy, and during intimacy week Rachel shared that her "ultimate fantasy" was for Steven to kiss her.

"It's definitely been a rollercoaster," Rachel told Daily Mail Australia of the moment Steven then pulled back from the kiss. "Seeing a moment that was hard to go through, and then to relive it was very hard to watch."

However, towards the end of filming the programme, an Australian reporter spotted the couple walking hand-in-hand in Sydney, suggesting they have remained together beyond the experiment.

Luke previous seasons, the participants are unable to use their social media while the show airs to avoid spoiling the outcome of their relationship for viewers at home. So, despite going back to their regular lives, the cast are ensuring they aren't spilling the beans before it airs on TV.

Age: 35

Location: Victoria

Occupation: Team leader

Warm, vibrant and bubbly Rachel hasn't been in a serious relationship for 14 years, rather in situationships with guys who never wanted to make it official.

But Rachel hasn't let this dim her sparkle and has a big personality and loves to laugh and joke. She is fiercely protective towards the people she loves and isn't afraid to call out bad behaviour or stand up for what is right.

Rachel is hoping that this experiment can guide her to a good man who she can be completely herself with. She is looking for a protective and communicative man who is willing to put in the work, just as she is.

Steven is a fun, loving guy who enjoys adventure and isn't afraid to be silly. Over the years, Steven has put his business first but has recently found himself as one of the only single guys left in his group.

He has struggled to get a foot in the door of the dating world, feeling that the dating world is uncompromising. For Steven, personality is paramount in a partner and he wants a woman who is ambitious, easygoing and won't be offended by his jokes.

Steven is throwing himself headfirst into the MAFS experiment and hopes to find a woman who will accept him for who he is.
