It's hasn't been quite the same without Married at First Sight not being the schedules, has it? Well, fans don't have much longer to wait as tonight (9 March), the latest outing Down Under will air on E4.

That's right, MAFS Australia is back for a 13th season and UK fans will finally be able to feast their eyes over this year's participants and their hopefully long lasting romances.

As ever, viewers will be introduced to the singles on their stag and hen dos before the weddings begin – and up first are Alissa and David, who had quite the interesting ceremony.

When Alissa met David at the altar, she staged a prank and demanded he must propose to her before the wed, and they instantly became a hotly-debated couple amongst Aussie audiences.

After such a tense stand-off, did the pair even make it past the altar? Here's everything we know about whether or not MAFS Australia couple Alissa and David are still together.

Despite an awkward start to their wedding day and accusations from other participants that Alissa is on the show simply to strengthen her career, the pair appear to still be going from strength to strength.

Away from their wedding day, Alissa and David have settled into their 'married' lives rather well and continue to be a couple on the experiment.

Much like previous seasons, the participants are unable to use their social media while the show airs to avoid spoiling the outcome of their relationship for viewers at home. So, despite going back to their regular lives, the cast are ensuring they aren't spilling the beans before it airs on TV.

Alissa is a paediatric nurse and social media who has been described as a "loyal, confident cheerleader" who is everyone's hype girl.

Prior to entering the experiment, Alissa had been in a six year relationship and letting go of someone she once believed was her forever person has been an emotional journey.

She is drawn to a tall, dark and handsome partner who is ready to open up, build a family and grow together, and is hoping MAFS will bring her the fairytale wedding, the right partner and happily ever after she has always dreamed of.

David is a former rapper, but is now working full-time as an e-commerce product manager, along with many other side hustles.

Despite his busy schedule, David is adamant he still has time for a partner, and isn't shy of female attention. With women often sliding into his DMs and attracted by his looks and rapping career, though he finds he is often misjudged.

David's ideal match is someone blonde and feminine and he hopes his future wife is attractive and aligns with his values.

He has never been in a relationship that has lasted longer than a year and is hoping that the MAFS experiment will allow him to finally find the full package and share a loving relationship, just like his parents.
