Nearly a year after Black Myth: Wukong took over the gaming world, soulslike Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is seeking to be the next hit Chinese game.
Telling the story of the pirate Bai Wuchang, the game focuses on a plague known as the feathering that turns anyone it infects into a mindless monster.

When is the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers release date?
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers releases on 24th July 2025.
While the game was first revealed in September 2021, the release date was only confirmed early this year, with a trailer from April 2025 officially confirming the July release date.
At the moment, it hasn't been confirmed whether the game will release simultaneously around the world, or will feature a staggered release. We'll be sure to update our page when we know more, so be sure to check back later!
What platforms can play Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Unfortunately, while PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players will be able to play the game on launch, there will be no support for last-gen consoles, and it's unlikely that there ever will be.
On the other hand, while the game is not launching on Nintendo Switch 2, there is a chance the game could see a port in the future, especially if it sells well on release.
Is Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one of release.
While it will be available on Xbox Game Pass, it is only coming to the Game Pass Ultimate subscription tier, meaning subscribers on lower tiers such as Game Pass Console will not be able to play.
Furthermore, only the game itself is included with Game Pass. DLC and add-ons such as Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses will be available to purchase separately.
Can I pre-order Wuchang: Fallen Feathers?
Yes, pre-orders are now available for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.
If you're only after a digital copy of the game, you can buy it directly from the Steam store, PlayStation store or Xbox store.
PC players can also nab a great deal, as both the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition are available on CDKeys for a pretty substantial discount.
