Episode 2: Michael McIntyre's Big Show

Summary

The comedian welcomes guests Kylie Minogue and Bradley Walsh for an evening of entertainment at London's Theatre Royal on Drury Lane. Kylie performs a ballad with Jack Savoretti, and is joined onstage by a group of audience members for a special karaoke challenge, while Bradley plays Celebrity Send to All, in which Michael hijacks his mobile phone to send an embarrassing message to all his recorded contacts. Plus, an airline pilot is the Unexpected Star as his West End dreams come true

Review

Kylie Minogue has shared a stage with Michael McIntyre before, so she must know what she’s letting herself in for when he encourages her to take part in a “kylie-oake” (the BBC’s description, not mine), singing duets with members of the audience at London’s Theatre Royal.

But perhaps that was safer than letting him get hold of her mobile. That dubious honour goes to the trusting Bradley Walsh. Now, will Doctor Who herself be fooled into replying when McIntyre’s fake text is sent to all? Does Doctor Who even have a mobile? Meanwhile, an airline pilot’s dream of performing on the West End stage comes true.
