Episode 6: The Ambassador's Boots

Summary

The new U. S. Ambassador to Britain confides to the Beresfords that on the voyage there someone substituted another travel bag for his, a bag that only contained his boots.

As we reach the end of the series, you’ve probably guessed the identity of the spy with the atomic bomb, it’s pretty obvious. But amateur sleuths Tommy and Tuppence Beresford (David Walliams and Jessica Raine) are taking their time catching up.

Of course Tuppence is held at gunpoint yet again before the pair of them realise who is the traitor. But we have to get through a lot more poking around in drawers, hiding in doorways and skulking in corridors in what is little more than a dangerous game of grown-up hide and seek.

Still, a lot of the action takes place in the seaside town of Cromer, and its lovely pier. And the 1950s women’s coats are glorious.
