Last night BBC drama Sherlock scooped four awards at the Creative Arts Emmys.

The event celebrates the many people involved in the technical aspects of TV show making, as well as hosts and guest actors.

The event precedes the 66th annual Emmy Awards, taking place on Monday 25th August.

While US chat show Saturday Night Live picked up five awards last night - the biggest tally of the night - Sherlock: His Last Vow celebrates a peachy four award wins.

The wins, in praise of the final episode of the third series, were for cinematography, picture editing, music composition and sound editing.

Game of Thrones also took home four awards along with True Detective and Cosmos. Netflix fave Orange Is the New Black also took home three awards. Downton Abbey, which will soon be back on our screens for series five, also scored an award for hairstyling for a single-camera series.
