The PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset is a new and, importantly, cheaper headset designed specifically for PlayStation gamers.

With improved comfort, sound separation and spatial accuracy, this new headset should provide a crips, immersive experience for gamers.

The device was announced in September alongside a more advanced Pulse Edge Wireless Headset – however, this won't be available until the start of 2027.

After its release in February 2024, the Pulse Elite headset headset faced intermittent stock shortages at major retailers, so we can expect a flurry of orders for this new device – especially with Christmas along the way.

Here's how you can pre-order the new PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset in the UK.

What's changed about the New PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset?

PlayStation is using the latest advancements in audio to give this new headset its superior sound quality.

Custom studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers help give the speakers good sound separation and spatial accuracy. This makes it easy for players to pinpoint directional cues, such as footsteps or reloads. Plus, they create a fuller, deeper bass, while keeping the clean sounds from the Pulse Elite headset.

The headset also feature AI-enhanced noise rejection in their integrated microphones to filter out background noises when you're chatting in game. Plus, they have improved comfort and durability.

How to pre-order the PlayStation Pulse Wireless Headset
