THE RUMOUR: Well, well, well. Apparently model turned aspiring actress Cara Delevingne is now out of the running when it comes to the much-anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey film because Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is set to be handed the role of innocent college graduate Anastasia Steele instead. The 26-year-old star, who plays Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen in the hit HBO drama, is apparently the producers' new favourite and the part is as good as hers.

QUOTE FROM A "SOURCE": Sources close to the casting room are all keeping schtum when it comes to Emilia... but of Cara this has been said: "A lead role was not something that was offered." (The Sun)

RADIOTIMES.COM TRUTH RATING: 4/5. We're not sure about truth exactly, but RadioTimes.com readers did recently vote for Emilia as their ultimate Anastasia Steele, so she's clearly a choice that would please you lot. And that's good enough for us.

Plus, we know from Game of Thrones that she's happy in her birthday suit and can convincingly simulate sex. Which, when it comes to the role of Christian Grey's bedroom partner, is a definite must.
