That means that the hit college hockey romance will be back on our screens less than a year after its first season landed, which is pretty impressive stuff in this TV landscape.

Of course, the speedy follow-up was made possible by an unusually early renewal for the show back in February 2026, three months before Off Campus had even premiered.

The streamer announced the season 2 release date alongside its returning cast, with the new batch of episodes shifting its focus to a new central couple. This time around, the show will be charting the romance between Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn), a storyline drawn from The Mistake, the second book in Elle Kennedy's bestselling novel series.

Created by Louisa Levy and based on author Kennedy's Off Campus Universe of novels, the series follows an elite ice hockey team and the women in their lives as they navigate love, heartbreak and the messy business of growing up.

Levy has already reassured fans that handing the spotlight to Allie and Dean does not mean writing out the season 1 leads. "Hannah and Garrett are still in season 2... but their love story is not the thing that's driving the season anymore," she said.

Now, fans can rest easy as it's been confirmed that almost the entire season 1 regular cast is back.

Alongside Abdalla and Kalyn, returning names include Belmont Cameli as Garrett and Ella Bright (The Last Kingdom) as Hannah, the pair who anchored the first season's central love story, plus hockey players Antonio Cipriano as John Logan and Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker: Independence) as John Tucker, who are both set to get their own romances. The one notable absence is Josh Heuston, whose character had a one-season arc as Hannah's crush.

India Fowler (The Winchesters) joins as a series regular, playing John Logan's love interest Grace Ivers. From the recurring roster, Julia Sarah-Stone returns as Jules, John Logan's younger sibling who runs the Briar gossip account, alongside Khobe Clarke as Dean's friend Beau Maxwell and Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Hannah's friend Dexter.

They are joined by new recurring cast member Phillipa Soo, the Hamilton star, as Scarlett, a theatre artist guest directing an original play at the college's drama department. Guest stars include Charlie Evans, reprising Dean's high-school hockey rival Hunter Davenport, and newcomer Shay Rudolph as Dean's younger sister Summer.

Not listed for season 2 are Chad Willett, who played Briar Hawks head coach Jensen, Steve Howey as Garrett's abusive father Phil, and Chelah Horsdal as Hannah's mother Carrie.

Off Campus arrived as one of Prime Video's biggest recent successes – and so, all eyes will be on the second season to see if it can do the same. Season 1 drew 36 million viewers worldwide in its first 12 days, the platform's third most-viewed debut season of any series and its most-watched ever among women aged 18 to 34. That momentum held: six months after launch, the show remained in Prime Video's global Top 10, most recently sitting at number six for the week of 26 October.
