Episode 4: DNA of a Murderer

Summary

When an artisan baker is found dead after receiving death threats, the police appear to have an open and shut case against the son of a convicted murderer who was sent to prison thanks to the baker's testimony. Drama, starring Ben Miller and Emma Naomi

Review

David Brown

Dr Goldberg (Juliet Stevenson) is advising Jasper (Ben Miller) to have some positive interactions with women. Her thinking? That such experiences will help him with his phobias. If I were him, I’d be withholding that nugget of info when making overtures. Not exactly one for the Tinder profile, is it? But the Prof blunders on in with the reasons for his sudden interest in dating. The big question, though, is whether he’ll meet with any success.

As for the requisite murder — well, it involves the killing of an artisan baker, all of which results in a debate between the detectives as to whether a person’s DNA makes them genetically predisposed to commit acts of violence
