Episode 1: Season 2, Episode 1

Summary

Psychological drama, starring Annabel Scholey, Aggy K Adams and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Leo's return sparks a change in Charlotte, and Mia seizes the opportunity to work her way into Jacob and Charlotte's confidence, their street, and eventually their bed, befriending cul-de-sac outcast Alan along the way

Review

Frances Taylor

The first series of this drama simply wasn’t very good, but that didn’t seem to matter: it became Channel 4’s biggest scripted streaming launch, with episode one garnering more than a million streams in a week.

Bolstered by this, it returns for another series. Sharing both a bed and an operating theatre are heart surgeon Charlotte and her anaesthetist husband Jacob, who soon find the conventions of their busy-but-comfortable life challenged by the arrival of Mia. She’s a young nurse who moves into the house next door and makes moves on their marriage.
