Despite the efforts of the Radio Times office Whovians to design the most difficult, most fiendish, most wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey questions possible, this is no mere geek. Russell T Davies not only revived the franchise in 2005, he’s a mega fan, the kind of guy you dread walking into your pub quiz. “Thanks for having such a sexy idea of me,” he laughs, before tearing through the questions with ease.

In the end, he managed a stunning score of 26/30, without the aid of multiple choice. Can you beat him?
