Our Score
This adult comedy sees two 30-somethings race from LA to Mexico to find their missing friend. Co-writer/director Scot Armstrong, who scripted Road Trip and The Hangover: Part II, aims at the same audience with this caper that follows likeable stars TJ Miller and Adam Pally who encounter organ harvesters, the police and a psychotic drugs baron en route. While you may care somewhat about the characters, the scrapes they get into become increasingly ludicrous and too similar to other "night gone wrong" movies. Comedian Miller is the standout, with his oblivious, madcap performance perfectly fitting the tone of the film. The rest of the cast fill out their roles with little fuss, save for a peculiarly energetic villain in JB Smoove. Ultimately, charm is not enough to gloss over the clichéd story, which may entertain for the short running time, but is about seven years too late to take anyone by surprise.

Summary

Distraught over the realization that they scared away their best friend's fiancée, two hard-partying pals set out on a wild journey to reunite the estranged couple by any means necessary. Comedy, starring Adam Pally, TJ Miller and Thomas Middleditch.
