Summary

Four-part thriller in which Pete (James Norton) endures a parent’s worst nightmare when he discovers that, thanks to a hospital mix-up, the toddler he’s raising is not his own.

Episode 2: Episode 2

Summary

Pete and Maddie begin the fight to keep Theo, but it's an expensive and painful process and the constant dredging up of their past starts to damage their relationship. Can they survive? Psychological thriller adapted from the best-selling novel by JP Delaney, starring James Norton, Niamh Algar, James McArdle and Jessica Brown Findlay

What follows in this preview is dependent on you having watched episode one of this nightmarish thriller. So, consider yourself warned. But those who are up to speed will be aware of the whiff of sulphur from one character, whose intention, it seems, is to twist the actions of Pete (James Norton) and Maddie (Niamh Algar) so they appear negligent.

Whether the pair can resist being provoked by their tormentor is another matter, though viewers watching from a safe distance may be able to foresee how the actions of innocent people will be spun to make them look guilty as hell.
