Summary
"The Walking Dead" is American post-apocalyptic drama based on the comic-book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard. When the story begins, sheriff deputy Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) awakes from a coma in an Atlanta hospital and discovers the world has been ravaged by zombies that become known as walkers. Rick eventually becomes the leader of a small group of survivors, including his son, Carl (Chandler Riggs), and together they face the day-to-day challenges of living in a hostile world. The supporting cast includes Glenn (Steven Yeun), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Carol (Melissa McBride) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). It premiered on FX in 2010.
