Episode 1: Episode #1.1
Summary
Newlyweds Alison and Sean appear to have an idyllic life. When Sean fails to return, having gone surfing, police conclude that he has drowned. However, Alison suspects something more sinister.
Review
Jane Rackham
In this intriguing Australian series Jo Joyner’s character Alison is happily married for the second time around to the wealthy Sean (Peter O’Brien) who lives in a beautiful Grand Designs-style beach home. Nobody else seems that happy about the situation though. Sean’s son is furious that Alison hasn’t signed a pre-nup and his ex-wife constantly looks as though she’s been sucking lemons while Alison’s former husband also has issues and her daughter is a typically grumpy teenager.
Initially it has all the hallmarks of an upmarket version of Neighbours… until Sean disappears while out for his daily surf. The briefly glimpsed flashbacks suggest it maybe wasn’t an accident. Continues tomorrow.
