Many viewers were no doubt so focused on Rash’s fledgeling romance with pharmacist Sunny that they’d failed to realise that she was the most likely staff member to have been tampering with the morphine supply (and yes, I was also left slapping my forehead when all was made clear on-screen). Bravo, Casualty writers — that was some bravura work you did in laying a false trail that led to the paramedics. It was the chemist all along — of course it was!

Now, though, there’s an urgent need for audiences to discover why Sunny has been risking the safety of patients by replacing the analgesic with a solution of saline. But fear not, as answers are coming this evening in an episode where Sunny’s motives are revealed.
