Review

David Brown

If feels as though there hasn’t been as much drugs-related content on a BBC drama since the days when Zammo was found smacked out in the back of the arcades in Grange Hill. The latest crisis here in Casualty has seen paramedic Indie disappear into the night in the company of her friend Badger, the provider of dodgy pills, whose supply has already fuelled Teddy and Jodie’s celebratory blowout. Now, it’s the morning after the night before and no one seems able to contact Indie.

There’s a pharmaceutical influence on the other plot strands, too, with Flynn and Dylan arguing over the latter’s plans for an amnesty, as well as developments in the ongoing morphine-dosing issues concerning the ambulance crews.
