Review

David Brown

With the emergency department having barely made it through the recent crisis involving a laced supply of heroin, the last thing it needs now is another drugs-related drama. But, on the day of a music festival and the opening of a new club, the discovery is made that a batch of ecstasy has been cut with what Flynn suspects could be a synthetic opioid.

Also on the agenda is a degree of foreshadowing where two paramedics are concerned. First, there’s Teddy, who’s continuing to clutch his chest on the sly when he thinks others aren’t looking. And then there’s Indie, who’s rallying colleagues for a night of partying after revealing that she’s landed a new job. What could possibly go wrong?
