A star rating of 1 out of 5.
David Parkinson
No one has a good word to say about this Canadian thriller, and we're not about to buck the trend. Shooting with a minuscule budget and on a ludicrously tight schedule, writer/director Bruce Pittman has come up with a film noir homage that really does look as if it was made with next to nothing in next to no time. You'd have thought there must be something of interest in a story in which a journalist and then a private detective go missing while investigating a 30-year-old axe murder. But you'd be wrong!
