It’s the coming together of two huge fantasy franchises. Daenerys Targaryen is teaming up with Finnick Odair.
Or rather, Game of Thrones star Emillia Clarke, aka the mother of dragons, is teaming up with Sam Claflin, who plays victor/ladies man in the Hunger Games films.
But the two British stars are set to leave killing arenas and battles for the throne far behind them.
The pair are poised to act opposite each other in Me Before You, the big screen adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ romantic tale, reports Deadline.
Clarke will play Lou, a waitress from a small town who meets Will when she loses her job. Will (played by Claflin) is wheelchair-bound after a recent motorbike accident and thinks he has no reason to keep on living, until Lou becomes determined to help him see otherwise…
(500) Days of Summer writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H Weber have penned the script alongside the novel’s author Moyes.
