It might not exactly be made up of PG content, but Fifty Shades of Grey is turning into something of a family affair.
The film’s director Sam Taylor-Johnson has revealed that she’s cast her husband Aaron in the steamy tale.
Rumours were rife when Taylor-Johnson was first announced as the project’s director that her actor partner might be lined up to play S&M obsessed businessman Christian Grey, a role which has since been given to The Fall’s Jamie Dornan. And although those murmurings were unfounded, it seems the 47-year-old has found some way of getting her other half into the action.
Asked whether she’d managed to get Aaron into the movie by Access Hollywood, the director replied, “Actually, I have.”
There’s no news on who Aaron might be playing in the adaptation of EL James’ erotic bestseller. And it doesn’t look as though we’ll be finding out anytime soon. The actor seems intent on keeping it under wraps: “Hush, hush. Don’t give anything away yet,” said Aaron.
Fifty Shades of Grey, starring Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Rita Ora and Jennifer Ehles, will be in cinemas on 14 February 2015.
