Bio: Lucy, who made the term "beer fear" into a household expression, proved popular with X Factor viewers from the moment she launched into her hangover-inspired song Last Night during her audition.

Usually a confident performer, Lucy struggled somewhat at the judges' houses, where she played an acoustic cover of Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.

She said: "You could tell, I went up there and I wanted to go. I just wanted to leave whereas every other time I’ve been on stage I’ve gone ‘oh my God, this is amazing'."

What we said: "Tea and Toast was a curious ballad covering the entire lives of an old couple. Like a cupcake with thick green icing presented to you by a child, it didn't follow the normal rules and consequently didn't quite taste right, but was sort of delightful." (week six, boot camp)

RT predicts: Instantly popular after her first audition, she has the major weakness of not being very good at covers. That's usually the whole point of the show, so we assume there must be a format change to accommodate Lucy. She still won't win though. 6th
