Summary
"Shaun the Sheep" is a British stop-motion animated children's TV series made by Aardman Animations. Shaun first appeared in the 1995 Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit short film A Close Shave. In "Shaun the Sheep", Shaun is the leader of the flock and always keeps his head when his fellow sheep are losing theirs. Other characters include Shirley, a big sheep who often needs the others to push her out of trouble, Blitzer the dog, who does his best to keep Shaun's pals out of trouble, Timmy, the baby of the flock, and the Farmer, who is completely oblivious to the human-like intelligence of his flock. The CBBC series premiered in 2007.
