If you’re missing Game of Thrones (and who isn’t, eh?), we’ve found a novel and slightly surreal way to ease your pain.
All you need to do is head Down Under and you can rave the night away with everyone’s favourite monosyllabic manservant, Hodor.
Yes, that’s correct. Hodor, famous for uttering his name in answer to anything and everything and carrying young Bran stark around on his back, is set to DJ his way around Australia, Game of Thrones-style.
“Hodor of House Stark will be showcasing some of the deepest house from all seven kingdoms at his very own Rave of Thrones,” reads an annoucement by organisers Falcona.
Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor in the hit HBO fantasy drama, will be touring a number of Australian clubs during August and September. And, if you go, it’s absolutely imperative that you go dressed like you just stepped out of Westeros.
“Whatever character or creature you choose to become for the night rest assured that all alliances and rivalries will be left at the gates to celebrate all things Game of Thrones and all that is HODOR!” assures Falcona.
If you can’t borrow enough from the Bank of Braavos for your plane ticket, don’t despair. If you happen to be starting Dundee University this September, you’re also in luck as Nairn is set to appear at their Freshers’ Week…
