Anne Reid guest-stars - Radio Times, 31 March 2007

Anne Reid as Florence Finnegan in Doctor Who © BBC
Nearly 18 years after Anne Reid first appeared in Doctor Who in 1989's The Curse of Fenric with Sylvester McCoy's Doctor, she's back in the new version. Then she was Nurse Crane; this time she's hospital patient Florence Finnegan. But there isn't much she can give away about her role.

"I was made to sign the Official Secrets Act," she explains, exaggerating only slightly. "They write your name on every page of the script, with this threatening letter saying that if you give your script to the press, they will know who's done it. It's rather fun, really."
