Review

A bio-drama about 1980s Colombian cocaine mogul Pablo Escobar, and his long war with American law enforcement. It’s surprisingly assured, given that the creators and cast have done little on this scale before — the lack of familiar faces, combined with the weaving of real news archive into fictional drama, gives it authenticity to balance the Scarface-y swagger.
