Episode 3: Give and Take

Summary

Lister has his kidneys removed following an altercation with a deranged droid and the only solution is to ask Cat, the most selfish creature in the universe, to give him one of his. Sci-fi comedy, starring Craig Charles, Chris Barrie and Robert Llewellyn

Review

Ten minutes into this week’s episode and you’ll genuinely be left wondering how on earth the crew is going to get out of the mess they’re in. Lister has had his kidneys stolen by a crazy droid and his life is now in the hands of what Kryten believes to be a cutting-edge medi-computer. The trouble is, it’s actually a souped-up snack machine with no real knowledge of surgery.

But get out of it they do, thanks to more nimble-footed plotting from Doug Naylor and a script that gives Kryten all the best lines. “I could work for Fifa,” he boasts after finally getting the hang of telling lies.
