After seven years of development, the new Bond game from Hitman developers IO Interactive is in the hands of gamers, but is 007 First Light on Xbox Game Pass?

Over the years, Xbox Game Pass has been a great way to experience new games on the cheap, though recent price fluctuation has muddied the waters there somewhat. Fortunately, there are still ways to save on an Xbox Game Pass membership.

Given how good 007 First Light is, it's only natural to want to check it out, especially if you are getting FOMO looking on at the millions of players who are already enjoying the game. Misery loves company, though, and so you'll be glad to know that Nintendo Switch 2 owners are twiddling their thumbs waiting as well.

So, can you immediately jump in, experience the story, get to know the cast and characters and listen to that Lana Del Rey theme song? Read on to find out if 007 First Light is on Xbox Game Pass!

Is 007 First Light on Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, 007 First Light is currently not available on Xbox Game Pass.

While the game is available on Xbox Series X/S consoles, players who want to dive in from day one are going to have to spend the money to do so.

The game does support Xbox Play Anywhere, which is a nice boon, but not really much consolation if you were hoping to play it without spending a penny.

The good news is that there's every chance 007 First Light could – could – come to Xbox Game Pass at some point in the future.

Accept and continue

Previously, IO Interactive had Hitman: World of Assassination on the platform, which includes Hitman 1, 2 and 3 in one bundle.

As such, it wouldn't be a surprise to see 007 First Light end up on the service at a later date.

That being said, we wouldn't hold out much hope for this happening anytime soon, so this is only a solution if you're willing to wait a year or two, if not longer to play.

As such, the bottom line is that if you want to play 007 First Light here and now, you're going to have to buy it for yourself, we're afraid!
