007 First Light theme song performed by Lana Del Rey released for new game – listen now
She follows in some massive footsteps.

The upcoming James Bond game 007: First Light has released its theme song, confirming rumours that Lana Del Rey is performing the track.
The video game, which is coming to us courtesy of Hitman developer IO Interactive, was announced last year and will offer a new origin story for the character, depicting his early years as a newly-qualified agent.
Award-winning singer-songwriter Rey has partnered with composer David Arnold on the song – Arnold is best known for scoring five films in the James Bond series, from Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) to Quantum of Solace (2008).

Del Rey was first rumoured to be involved towards the end of 2025 when fans realised that the singer had registered a new song on the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), which was titled First Light.
This prompted theories that the track could be connected to the upcoming Bond title, given the matching name, though neither Del Rey nor IO Interactive commented at the time.

007: First Light stars Dexter: Original Sin actor Patrick Gibson in the lead role, while supporting cast members include Priyanga Burford, who's playing M, and Lennie James, who's starring as John Greenway.
The game had initially been scheduled for a March 2026 release date, but the developer confirmed in a statement back in December that the game had been pushed back by two months to enable them to "further polish it".
This isn't the first time Del Rey has penned a song for a Bond project, with the singer previously having written the track 24 for Spectre, though Sam Smith’s Writing on the Wall was ultimately chosen for the film instead.
