If there's one man in Emmerdale you don't mess with, it's Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

After undergoing his radical prostatectomy operation, he learns from wife Moira (Natalie J. Robb) about how Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) was responsible for her imprisonment.

Armed with a hammer, he holds him hostage!

Elsewhere, Dr. Todd (Caroline Harker) ups her manipulation and blackmails Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) - pay up, or she'll expose her huge baby secret. There's also a new beginning for Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) after his trial, but will it go smoothly?

1. Cain Dingle seeks revenge on Robert Sugden

On the the morning of Cain’s operation, both he and Moira put on a brave face as the reality of what awaits sinks in. Kyle anxiously eats his breakfast, worried about his dad.

The family then head to the hospital, and as Cain is wheeled into surgery, Kyle is panicked. Fortunately, the surgery is a success, though Cain is uncomfortable to realise he's been fitted with a catheter.

Fearing long-term consequences, he begins to spiral, even faking pain to delay being discharged.

Moira grows frustrated with his behaviour, but it’s Sarah who finally cuts through, challenging her grandfather's self-pity and persuading him to return home. Yet recovery proves far from easy.

Tensions rise when Aaron and Robert visit, with Cain sensing an uneasy atmosphere. After they leave, Moira is forced to admit the truth - it was Robert who planted the enslaved workers' identity documents that led to her arrest.

Furious, Cain vows revenge and quietly enlists Sam’s help. The following day, Robert is alone in the barn at Emmerdale Farm when a noise draws his attention.

He's suddenly attacked from behind and knocked unconscious. When he comes to, he’s tied to a chair, face-to-face with a simmering Cain, hammer in hand, demanding he “pay” for what he’s done.

Uh-oh!

2. Dr. Todd blackmails Charity Dingle

As Dr. Todd attends her father’s funeral, Jacob begins to question whether his feud with her has gone too far. Though still hurt, Sarah reminds him of everything Todd has put him through over the last few months.

Determined to make amends, Jacob offers Todd his condolences and apologises for their past clashes. When she accepts, he allows himself to believe they’ve turned a corner.

But peace is short-lived. In the pub, Mary plays matchmaker, and Vanessa agrees to ask Todd out. The pair arrange a date, but just as things seem to settle, Todd drops a bombshell, hinting she knows something that could ruin Jacob.

Charity is alarmed to learn Todd has been alluding to her secret in front of Jacob, urging him to steer clear.

Later, Todd confides in Vanessa that she’s inherited her father’s home in Matlock, though Vanessa worries the distance could scupper any budding romance. Todd insists she can’t move just yet, as she needs to raise some funds...

In The Woolpack, beer garden, Todd confronts Charity, claiming she has proof that she and Ross are Leyla’s biological parents. She demands money to keep quiet, leaving Charity reeling - especially when she later witnesses Todd kissing Vanessa.

3. Bear Wolf struggles with his new normal

After being release from prison, Bear prepares for his first day at the Caleb Miligan International Depot alongside Mandy, with Jai introducing a “Productivity Chart” to boost morale.

Bear comes out on top, but the praise triggers an unexpected flashback to his traumatic past on the farm.

His anxiety soon spills over, snapping at Mandy and Kerry, and visibly flinching when Jai raises his voice.
As Mandy and Kerry explain Bear’s struggles, Jai begins to understand, softening his approach and offering reassurance as Bear attempts to move forward.

4. Bob Hope forms his own men's dart team

Bob is thrown into a panic when The Woolie's men’s darts team finds itself a player short.

Relief comes in the form of Lewis, who steps in at the last minute, confidently claiming he’s no stranger to the oche. But whether he can actually deliver remains to be seen…
