This abrasive comedy stars Jason Sudeikis as a small-time pot dealer who has his cash and stash stolen, leaving him owing thousands to old college buddy Ed Helms, now a major drug kingpin. In order to settle the debt he agrees to smuggle a shipment of weed across the Mexican border, recruiting a stripper (Jennifer Aniston) and two surly teens to pose as his holidaying family in a large motor home. Director Rawson Marshall Thurber goes for the broad comedic jugular that served him well in Dodgeball, although the scrapes and skirmishes of the storyline owe more to the outlandish experiences of Chevy Chase's screen family in National Lampoon's Vacation and its sequels. Sudeikis and Aniston are a good pairing as the sham spouses, but the standout performance comes from Will Poulter as their nerdy fake son.

Plot Summary

A drug dealer is hired to pick up a shipment of marijuana in Mexico and bring it back over the border. To make himself look less suspicious, he recruits a stripper and two teenagers to pose as a perfect all-American family on holiday, only to end up getting on the wrong side of a drug cartel. Comedy, with Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts.
