The White Lotus season 4 casts The Thursday Murder Club and The Handmaid's Tale favourites in new roles
Filming is currently underway in France.

The White Lotus is checking in more A-list guests for its fourth season, with none other than Sir Ben Kingsley among the new additions to the cast.
The anthology series whisks viewers away to a different luxury hotel in each season, where the guests haphazardly manage their secrets and relationships, culminating in the untimely demise of (at least) one of them.
Following stories set in Hawaii, Italy and Thailand, the series is now making the journey to the French Riviera, where the plot will follow the cast and crew of two competing projects at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival (as per Variety).
Joining the series in an as-yet-undisclosed role is Sir Kingsley, who is coming off roles in Netflix film The Thursday Murder Club and Marvel streaming series Wonder Man. He's also known for starring roles in Gandhi, Schindler's List and Sexy Beast.
But that's not all! Max Minghella (The Handmaid's Tale, Industry) and Finnish actor Pekka Strang (The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die) have also been added to the line-up, but their roles are similarly being kept under wraps.

The White Lotus casting has generated no shortage of news headlines recently, following the shock exit of Helena Bonham Carter mere days into filming, despite being one of the first – and most high profile – names announced for the season.
Her role, that of a faded star hoping to jump-start her career at Cannes, has now been substantially rewritten in order to suit Laura Dern; a frequent collaborator of The White Lotus creator Mike White.
Season 4 co-star Steve Coogan addressed the major shake-up on the BAFTA TV Awards 2026 red carpet over the weekend, where he described Bonham Carter's departure as a "mutual" decision.

Incoming White Lotus cast members include a mix of big-name talents and relative unknowns (who might well be catapulted to stardom once the new episodes launch).
Among the recognisable faces are Vincent Cassel (The Three Musketeers), Chris Messina (Birds of Prey), Sandra Bernhard (Marty Supreme), Max Greenfield (New Girl), Kumail Nanjiani (Taskmaster) and Chloe Bennet (Marvel's Agents of SHIELD).
Notably, no returnees from earlier seasons have been announced just yet, suggesting that this story could be a clean break from the Tanya/Greg/Belinda conspiracy that sprawled across the first three seasons.
The White Lotus season 4 is coming soon. Catch up on NOW and HBO Max.
