Amandaland's leading lady certainly has her flaws, but you can't deny her never-say-die spirit when everything around her is crumbling.

Whether it's being named and shamed by a local coffee shop for not paying her bill, or losing out on a house to her own mother, Amanda always finds a way to bounce back – even if the smile plastered across her face grows more maniacal by the day.

"She’s a hustler. She falls flat on her face and gets back up. She just wants a big life," confirmed star Lucy Punch in an interview with Radio Times.

But will she realise that dream in a third season?

Read on for everything we know so far about a potential Amandaland season 3.

Has Amandaland been renewed for season 3?

The BBC has yet to announce if more episodes are on the way, but Punch is certainly keen to continue.

"We want to do this as long as people enjoy it; every character needs to feel fleshed out, so people can relate," she told Radio Times.

When could a potential Amandaland season 3 be released?

Seasons 1 and 2 arrived in February 2025 and May 2026 respectively, so all being well, season 3 could arrive in the first half of 2027.

Which cast could return for a potential Amandaland season 3?

Lucy Punch would obviously return as Amanda. We'd also expect to see:

  • Joanna Lumley as Felicity
  • Philippa Dunne as Anne
  • Samuel Anderson as Mal
  • Rochenda Sandall as Fi
  • Ekow Quartey as JJ

There's also Georgie and Manus, played by Miley Locke and Alexander Shaw, Darius played by Jack Veal, Morten played by Anya Mckenna-Bruce, Ned played by Archie Smith, and Daniel Kichen played by Cavan Clerkin.

There will likely be some exciting new guest stars, too. Previous famous faces have included Jennifer Saunders and Pam Ferris.

But there's a question mark over Siobhan McSweeney's Della, who's heading to Miami to open her own restaurant, and it remains to be seen if Harriet Webb will return as Abs, Mal's ex and JJ's partner.
