Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement star in first-look trailer for Disney+ series Alice and Steve
A decades-old friendship soon becomes strained when Steve starts sleeping with Alice's 20-something-year-old daughter.

Disney+ has given fans a first look at its new Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement-starring series, Alice and Steve.
The show from Baby Reindeer producer Clerkenwell Films, which is set to premiere 8 June on Disney+ and Hulu, stars Walker (The Split) and Clement (What We Do in the Shadows) as best friends turned enemies Alice and Steve, after the latter sleeps with the former’s daughter and starts dating her.
Billed as an "anti-romantic comedy" or even a "wrong-com", the new trailer gives us a first glimpse at the breakdown of their friendship as Steve becomes romantically entangled with 20-something-year-old Izzy (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder star Yali Topol Margalith), who is almost three decades his junior.
“I hope you fall out of your window and get pierced in the heart by your railing, and that no one comes to your funeral,” Alice tells Steve in the footage after making the discovery.
And when Izzy introduces Steve to her friends, they seem equally unimpressed. "He's so old," one of them says.
