Jack Seale

A tale of grand deception, based on real events. Amanda Seyfried is Elizabeth Holmes, the entrepreneur who won wild acclaim for founding Theranos, a company selling a revolutionary blood test. Magazine front covers and hundreds of millions of dollars in venture capital came her way, with just one question spoiling Holmes’s image: did the thing actually work?

Seyfried is an increasingly intense presence as we learn something about how far hype can take you in the world of business.
