Two years ago, Harriet (Lucy Boynton) lost her boyfriend Max (David Corenswet) in a car accident. Although devastated, she's able to see Max whenever she wants by listening to a song from their time together, which transports her into the past for as long as the tune lasts. While obsessing over finding the specific song that might enable her to travel back and save his life, Harriet is also conflicted over feelings she has for David (Justin H Min), a man from her grief counselling sessions. Writer/director Ned Benson has crafted a sweet, if slow, romantic drama that uses its time-travel elements well. It's a shame that the exploration of Harriet's grief is never more than surface level, which robs the film of some depth. However, it's enjoyable to spend time with the cast, and in particular the hugely likeable Min.
