Ed Grenby

Ed Grenby is Associate Editor of Radio Times. That means he looks after the title’s lifestyle content three days a week – which happily allows him two full days off to watch television and listen to the radio. Instead, he usually wastes those days by writing for The Times, Sunday Times, Telegraph and others. He writes mostly about books and travel (his CV includes 15 years as Editor of The Sunday Times Travel Magazine), and has won five Editor of the Year awards and eleven Writer of the Year gongs, though he still can’t spell "exhilarate". His own career on television started – and, mercifully, ended – with captaining the Glasgow Uni team to very little glory on University Challenge back in the Paxman era.
