Sheffield United will be looking to pick up their first win of the season when they welcome Manchester United to Bramall Lane under the Saturday night lights.

The Blades face an uphill battle to avoid relegation having earned just one point from eight games, and manager Paul Heckingbottom will be without Chris Basham for the rest of the campaign after his skipper suffered a sickening leg injury in their 3-1 defeat to Fulham last time out.

It has also been a disappointing start to the season for the visitors and the pressure is building on boss Erik ten Hag after four wins and four defeats in the Premier League, coupled with two losses in the Champions League.

Ten Hag should have Casemiro available for the trip to Sheffield, despite the midfielder picking up an ankle injury on international duty with Brazil, while Raphaël Varane is in contention to start after missing the win over Brentford before the break due to a minor fitness problem.

The fixture has been rescheduled to Saturday night from its original Sunday afternoon slot because the Red Devils host FC Copenhagen in the Champions League next Tuesday.
