Premier League relegation favourites Sheffield United are running out of time to turn things around in 2023/24, and Monday's visit from title hopefuls Arsenal looks likely to offer little in terms of respite.

The Blades are bottom of the table - with just one win and seven defeats in their last nine league games - and are currently on course to drop back to the Championship just a year after their top-flight return.

There were positives for Chris Wilder to take from last weekend's 1-0 loss to Wolves, but he will know all too well that their next opponents will be another level of quality entirely.

Arsenal are the form team in the Premier League, and sit just two points back from leaders Liverpool in third. The Gunners have won all seven of their league games in 2024, and have done so in convincing style - scoring 25 goals and conceding just three.

They put five past Sheffield United in the reverse fixture at the Emirates, and it would be no surprise to see them run up the score on Monday night as well, as they continue their title charge.
