It promises to be a low-scoring game, as South Africa are also mean at the back, having kept four clean sheets in a row since a 2-0 defeat to Mali in their tournament opener.
Bafana Bafana needed a penalty shootout to progress past AFCON outsiders Cape Verde in the last eight, as goalkeeper Ronwen Williams saved four spot-kicks to seal their place in the semis.
