Brighton host Marseille at the Amex on Thursday in a straight shoot-out for top spot in Europa League Group B.

Both clubs have already secured their place in the knock-out stages of the competition, but the Seagulls must win to top the group and earn direct passage to the round of 16. A draw or defeat for Roberto De Zerbi's side would leave them second – meaning they have to face one of the teams dropping out of the Champions League in the play-offs in February.

Brighton left it late to come from behind and draw 2-2 in the Stade Vélodrome in September and Thursday's game has all the makings of another entertaining contest – not least because it sees Europa League top scorers Joao Pedro and Pierre-Emmerick Aubamerang face off.

The visitors will arrive on the South Coast with plenty of confidence, having won four on the bounce in all competitions and scored 13 goals in that run, but De Zerbi's side are not ones to step back from a challenge.

It should be another special night for Brighton, in what has been a magnificent first season in European football already.
