Ahead of its return later this year, All Creatures Great and Small guest star Maimie McCoy has revealed Siegfried and Dorothy's romance is set to continue in season 7.

McCoy first appeared on the Yorkshire Dales-set drama in season 1, back in 2020, as a friend of Mrs Hall's who ended up sharing a kiss with the vet.
But their fling swiftly ground to a halt after she left for Malta, where she remained until the end of the war.
Fast forward to the 2025 Christmas special when Dorothy returned to Darrowby and shared another kiss with Siegfried – this time under some mistletoe in The Drovers – who she appears wholly set on now that she's seemingly staying put.
"There's lots that connects them, which I think is really lovely," McCoy told Radio Times of their relationship, although she couldn't go into detail about what's in store – including if they're built to last.
There's a sizeable portion of All Creatures fans who believe Siegfried and housekeeper Mrs Hall are destined to be together, but that's a debate for another day...

"But as much as the relationship with Siegfried was interesting, the one that was really special to me was the one with Mrs Hall," added McCoy.
"I think sometimes that gets overlooked because we want to focus on the romance, but they've been in the Wrens (Women's Royal Naval Service) together, they've gone through a huge amount in terms of their journey as women through and past the war, so to go back and to give that more depth and to show more was really, really quite special."
McCoy also relished the chance to work with Anna Madeley again, saying she's "always had a really soft spot" for her.
"I think she's quite a talent," she said, describing her return to All Creatures as both "a gorgeous experience" and "always a surprise".
"You never quite know where stories are going to take you."

McCoy is currently starring in season 4 of ITV crime series Van der Valk, playing a detective working to keep the streets of Amsterdam safe – the filming commitments for which previously prevented her from returning to All Creatures.
But while the two shows couldn't be more different, the 5 drama "has a really special place in my heart too, not least because it's very close to where I grew up".
"The cast of the original series used to come into our family restaurant when I was a little girl," she said. "And my dad had taken me to set, which I don't remember. I think I was about seven. And apparently we were there for that famous scene where Christopher Timothy's birthing a cow.
"I don't know whether this is some of my dad's folklore, but one of my best mates from school is still in the art department, we started that job together.
"So it's been it's been lovely to come back. It's been really really lovely."
