With Forza Horizon 5 launching on Sony's console, there are also questions of whether Forza Horizon 6 will release on PS5, but today, we are talking all things Xbox and PC.

With recent changes made to Xbox Game Pass, we'll also go over what to expect on that front. Certainly, Xbox feels rejuvenated in recent weeks, with the brand ditching Microsoft and the new Xbox CEO, Asha Sharma, promising not to flood Xbox with "soulless AI slop".

There are other big Xbox titles to look forward to as well, such as Fable and Gears of War: E-Day, but as for now, let's crack on with all things Forza Horizon 6!

When is the Forza Horizon 6 release date?

Forza Horizon 6 launches on 19 May 2026 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

That being said, owners of the Premium Edition will be able to play several days earlier, on 15th May – more on that down below.

This was all officially confirmed at the Xbox Developer Direct showcase on 22nd January 2026.

However, due to the complexities of living on a spherical planet, some of us may actually be playing on 20 May, as we need to take time zones into account.

Is there Forza Horizon 6 early access? FH6 early access launch time

Forza Horizon 6 Standard Edition (£59.99 / $69.99)

Is Forza Horizon 6 on Xbox Game Pass?

Forza Horizon 6 is coming to Xbox Game Pass, but there's a catch.

Console players will only be able to get day one access through a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, the most expensive tier.

PC players, on the other hand, will be able to play via the significantly cheaper PC Game Pass, though if they have Game Pass Ultimate, that will work too.

If you're still balking at the cost of Game Pass after those price hikes last year, check out the best Game Pass deals to try and save a few quid.

Will Forza Horizon 6 be on PS5?

Forza Horizon 6 will be coming to PS5, but it will not be launching on the console.

At the time of writing, Forza Horizon 6 is set to launch as an Xbox and PC exclusive, coming to PS5 consoles later in the year.

Right now, all we have is a 2026 release year, so we aren't sure when exactly it could come out, but it's better than waiting 4 years like we did with Forza Horizon 5!

Is there a Forza Horizon 6 trailer?

Yes, there is! Following the initial teaser trailer that announced the game in 2025, January 2026 gave us the first official gameplay teaser:
