Review
David Brown
This is a small-town nightmare of a series, starring Lost alumnus Harold Perrineau as a sheriff trying to keep monstrous creatures from manifesting at night and murdering the locals. But in the first five minutes, he fails in spectacularly grisly fashion, and the body count increases by two.
Into this scene of brooding horror then comes new arrival Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and her family, who quickly discover that while it’s easy to enter the neighbourhood, it’s a lot harder to leave. Impossible, in fact, as all roads bizarrely lead back to the centre of town. The tone is very much The Walking Dead meets Stephen King, and the tension is cranked high throughout.
