Summary
Sci-fi adventure series following on from the events in the seventh season finale of "Stargate SG-1". Dr Daniel Jackson (Michael Shanks) discovers an outpost found in Antarctica is the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Dr Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson) leads an expedition to explore the area and encounters resistance from a powerful enemy known as the Wraith. Unable to contact Earth, Weir must find a way to destroy the creatures. "Stargate Atlantis" premiered in 2004 and ran for five seasons, clocking up 100 episodes. It can be seen on Sky Atlantic.
