Summary
"Bottom" is a British sitcom following the lives of Richard "Richie" Richard (Rik Mayall) and Edward "Eddie" Hitler (Adrian Edmondson); two crude lunatics sharing a flat in London's Hammersmith. Richie is clumsy, pompous and incredibly dull-witted who thinks of little else but sex. Eddie is violent, likes a drink and has two brainless friends, Spudgun (Steve O'Donnell) and Dave Hedgehog (Christopher Ryan). The flat is unhygienic and its contents are usually destroyed by the chaotic pair as they take great pleasure in beating each other senseless. It ran from 1991 to 1995 and spawned a feature-length film entitled "Guest House Paradiso" (1999) and five popular stage tours between 1993 and 2003.
