Wedding bells ring out across Weatherfield next week, as Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) are finally married. It's not exactly smooth-sailing, as the venue is suddenly flooded just hours before the ceremony.

Fortunately, with help from the residents, a surprise reception is set up in the Underworld factory!

But let's not forget, the aftermath of the Swarla wedding played out during February's flash-forward episode, revealing that there will be murder and a dance floor on their big day!

But who will perish? Abuser Theo? Conniving Carl? Groomer Megan? Meddling Maggie or mysterious Jodie? Each story is projected into the spotlight ahead of a very dramatic reveal.

1. Debbie Webster orders son Carl to leave Weatherfield

After witnessing Theo square up to Gary, Carl sets a dangerous chain of events in motion - only for Gary to refuse to take the bait. Determined to push matters further, he takes it upon himself to provoke Theo, hoping to land him in trouble with the police.

The tension spills into the Rovers when Theo storms in with Carl close behind, but he’s swiftly refused service by Gemma, while Eva makes it clear he’s barred. An enraged Theo makes his exit, with Carl hot on his heels.

Out on the street, the two men start a confrontation that could see Theo arrested. But will Carl's risky plan pay off?

The following morning, Debbie is left shaken when she receives a call informing her that Carl has been taken to hospital. Meanwhile, Abi arrives at the shop with unsettling news about Carl, leaving Summer deeply alarmed.

What has happened?

As the drama unfolds, Ronnie is stunned to discover that Carl has been blackmailing Debbie, demanding she sign over the hotel. Urging her not to give in, Ronnie pleads with Debbie to stand her ground.

However, Carl soon makes himself at home, helping himself to a drink at the hotel bar and asserting his authority. When Ryan challenges him, Carl wastes no time in firing him on the spot, smugly revealing that he now owns the business.

Later, summoned by Debbie, Carl arrives expecting a showdown. Debbie makes her position crystal clear - he won’t be getting the hotel, but she’s willing to hand over a cash settlement on the condition he disappears from her life for good. Will Carl accept defeat, or is this far from over?

2. Megan Walsh falls for Eva Price's trap

Megan’s fortunes take a dramatic turn when Kit arrives at the Rovers with news that the CPS has dropped the case against her due to insufficient evidence. As the relief sinks in, Will meets with her, and she wastes no time in revealing that she's booked them tickets to Paris.

Thrilled, Will embraces the idea, even presenting her with a guidebook for their trip.

Back at the Rovers, Ollie lashes out at Ben for failing to protect Will, while Maggie urges Eva to act fast and confront Megan before matters spiral further. Taking matters into her own hands, Eva, with encouragement from Leanne, searches Will’s room and uncovers a burner phone containing just one contact.

The pair seize the opportunity, sending a message posing as Will to arrange a meeting.

When Megan takes the bait, Eva, Leanne and Toyah confront her - leading to a heated scuffle that leaves Megan sprawled on the pavement. Later, Eva reveals she’s secretly planted a tracking device in Megan’s bag, determined to stay one step ahead.

Elsewhere, tensions rise when Maggie comes face to face with Will’s mother, Melanie, who furiously accuses her of failing to protect her son from grooming. Meanwhile, at the bistro, Eva confides in Leanne and Toyah that Megan has admitted to sleeping with Will.

3. Carla Connor and Lisa Swain are finally married

Across the cobbles, wedding fever takes hold for Carla and Lisa as preparations ramp up. Ryan gives Carla a tour of the hotel as they discuss their big day, but the mood quickly shifts when Carla receives a call from the social worker regarding Connie. Later, Carla and Lisa break the news to Betsy that Connie will be returning to her grandmother’s, prompting an emotional response.

As Lisa practises her vows with Betsy, Carla admits she’s yet to write her own and could use some inspiration. However, pre-wedding excitement soon takes over, with Carla arriving at her hen do in the Rovers to find her guests - including Roy(!) - all dressed as her.

Meanwhile, Sally is surprised to spot Lisa quietly preparing for a low-key night in.

Disaster strikes when Debbie reveals the hotel’s function room has been flooded, leaving no choice but to cancel the wedding. As Ryan breaks the news, Lisa is quick to reassure Carla that the ceremony itself is what truly matters.

Determined not to let circumstances derail their plans, Lisa secretly orchestrates an alternative. Under the pretence of a complimentary lunch, she brings Carla to the hotel, where she’s stunned to find a makeshift wedding set-up complete with arch, champagne and their nearest and dearest ready to celebrate.

With no need for grandeur, Carla and Lisa exchange heartfelt vows and rings in an intimate ceremony.

But the surprises don’t end there! Back on the street, Carla is frustrated by a factory alarm, only to discover that their friends have transformed the space into a wedding reception, ensuring the celebrations continue in style.

4. Theo Silverton watches Todd Grimshaw from afar

Theo’s threatening behaviour escalates as he corners Summer and delivers chilling words about Billy. Clearly shaken, Summer later confides in George, who wastes no time confronting Theo and issuing a stark warning to stay away from Todd and Summer.

Theo’s situation appears increasingly desperate when he’s later found in a sorry state near his van, with son Miles expressing concern when he finds him. As Theo pleads for another chance at family life, Carl quietly observes, sensing an opportunity to exploit the situation further.

Todd, meanwhile, is reassured when Kit promises to protect him from Theo. Deciding he needs distance, Todd reveals plans to visit Eileen and Jason in Thailand.

However, as he prepares to leave, it becomes clear Theo is still lurking in the shadows, watching his every move…

5. Shona Ramsey fears for Jodie's safety after new development

Jodie is left rattled when she discovers a flyer advertising a haulage company called Haul North - but what significance does it hold for her? Her unease deepens when she unexpectedly runs into Olivia and is forced to introduce her to Shona, revealing she was once Olivia’s nanny.

Back at No. 8, tensions rise when Olivia admits she knows Jodie stole her father’s hard drive and had intended to take it back herself. Thinking quickly, Jodie spins a story about a violent ex-boyfriend, claiming the hard drive belongs to him and that she’s now in grave danger.

Alarmed, Shona urges Jodie to leave immediately, fearing Olivia’s father could track her down at any moment.

6. Christina Boyd urges George Shuttleworth to move forward

At the undertakers, Christina encourages George to breathe new life into the business by investing in a bold advertising push in the Weatherfield Gazette.
