Widow's Bay release schedule: When is the next episode on Apple TV?

Apple TV's new horror comedy Widow's Bay has arrived on the streamer, casting The Americans and The Beast in Me star Matthew Rhys as a sceptical Mayor investigating a supposedly cursed island.

Parks and Recreation writer Katie Dippold is behind the quirky series, which takes place on the mysterious Widow's Bay, located about 40 miles off the coast of New England in the United States.

We're introduced to Mayor Tom Loftis (Rhys), who initially seeks to dispel long-held speculation that the quaint town is cursed, stemming from its bizarre history of unexplainable incidents.

But in his quest to boost tourism to the destination, he finds that there may be more to the rumours than he'd expected.

In addition to Rhys, Widow's Bay boasts British comedy star Kate O'Flynn (Bridget Jones's Baby, Everyone Else Burns), plus Barry's Stephen Root, A League of Their Own's Dale Dickey and Snowfall's Kevin Carroll in its main cast.

Adding to the star-power is executive producer and director Hiro Murai, who is best known for his work on several of Donald Glover's most acclaimed projects, such as Atlanta, Mr & Mrs Smith and his viral This is America music video.
